Friends With Benefits (2011)

Friends With Benefits is directed by Will Gluck, it’s a comedy film whom most people associate with No Strings Attached, although many believe the films have no similarity. Friends With Benefits follows Jamie (Mila Kunis), who has invited Dylan (Justin Timberlake) to New York in the hopes that he will accept her job offer. Jamie and Dylan instantly hit it off and they both agree to becoming friends with benefits. Jamie and Dylan soon decide to start dating, although after Jamie’s love interest leaves her claiming he can’t be her prince charming and Jamie’s mother (Patricia Clarkson) cancels on a trip, she ends up joining Dylan on a trip home to LA. The two end up having intimate sex and afterwards Jamie over hears Dylan confiding in his sister Annie (Jenna Elfman) that he doesn’t have feelings for Jamie. She is hurt and ends up leaving. They both miss one another and they reconcile and all is well.

I quite enjoyed this film, it has multiple highlights, mainly seeing Mila Kunis in little to no clothing. One let down was that it took the entire film for them to establish that it is not Third Eye Blind who sing Closing Time, it is Semisonic.
